We played three matches v Polis & Latchi Lions (drew 0-0), Paphos Pumas (lost 0-1), Paphos Lynx (won 1-0). All matches were 10 mins each way because there was only one referee and to allow time to complete the games on a single pitch within 2 hours. The short format meant goals were scarce. In all three matches we were relatively comfortable at the back and made plenty of chances without scoring (hitting the post a few times!). The only goal conceded was a dubious penalty. Our goal in the final game followed good work by Mario holding the ball and passing back to Matt, who scored with an excellent long-range shot.

The Manager said

Great efforts from all ENAD players, brilliant performance from all. Great goal from Matt!

We are family we are the Enad Panthers ⚽️⚽️⚽️❤️❤️❤️

The Manager says

“Well, what can I say - we have retained our hold on the League and this is totally due to every member of the Enad Panthers. It was hard work yesterday due to the wet conditions but we came through it well, so we only lost 2 games in the entire league season - a great achievement!

Although the season has ended we are still training as I have organised friendly games in the coming weeks & months. Training is vital for us to maintain our fitness , shape and working on improving our passing & movement for the new season

We have winners’ medals for every player which we will hand out at our AGM meeting on the 14th April at 7.30pm (venue to be confirmed). Please attend so we can celebrate winning the league together.

We are always looking for new players to introduce into our growing squad. Walking football helps to maintain your health & fitness as you get older and if you are on your own the social aspect helps with your mental health.

We are family ... We are the Enad Panthers!”

Enad Panthers, As a proud manager I just want to say what a fantastic performance you all put into today’s three games! Since league game 1 we have improved on each league Sunday and today’s three games were an example of how far we have come. We all played our parts in today’s games and you all made me proud as a manager. Bravo to every player, including Tony HG who ensured we were warmed up to start our first game, and a big shout out to Petros (get well soon) who supported us today.

Manager’s report on League Matchday 3, 04/01/26

We went into Round 3 of the league with 11 points and 1 point lead over the Pumas. I was keen to ensure we were at our best today so playing in game 1 vs the Lynx wanted a positive start. The first half was tight and we created only a couple of chance, but I was pleased with the performance. I made a few changes and in the second half we dominated possession. A good pass from myself to Petros resulted in a well taken goal by Petros. Not long after that with more pressure from Enad again from a pass from myself I found Andreas who slotted the ball into the net for 2-0 and that’s how it finished. A great first game from the Panthers, I was well pleased with the squad’s performance.

Game 2 was vs The Tigers and again we started positively and looked threatening going forward. After some good play Andreas scored a good goal to give us a 1-0 lead. We continued to press, and after a good pass from Matt I made it 2-0 to Enad & we ran out comfortable winners . Again I was pleased with our performance in this game & another clean sheet... due to Antonis doing his Gandolf ...” None Shall pass” .. great work!

Game 3 vs the Pumas was a tight affair, both teams playing well in the first half and not many chances. However, in the 2nd half, after subs were brought on, the game opened up and after some great play Andreas found himself in a goal scoring position and duly scored. We continued to hold the ball having secured our Goal & again Antonis produced a few fine saves to keep a third clean sheet. We then broke & Dave J found himself in front of goal & his left boot was lethal to make it 2-0. Job done & a third clean sheet!

Again I was pleased with the entire squad’s performance and our attitude; and 9 points was a brilliant haul. We can and will improve to get better.. but let’s enjoy our unfaltering commitment. We are a great squad.. We are family & We are The Enad Panthers ⚽️⚽️⚽️

Manager’s Report on League Matchday 2, 14/12/25

Game 1 vs Paphos Lynx

Mario says…We started the game on the front foot and got the opening goal with a great goal from Dave. Tony made some great saves to keep us ahead. We deserved our 2nd goal taken well by Andros and we saw out the win. What pleased me was we did not concede any goals. A solid performance.

Match 2 v Paphos Tigers

For me after the Tigers League Matchday 1 performance , I saw this as our big test so I was surprised that in large we dominated the game, again Tony kept a clean sheet and good goals by Kostas & myself saw us run out 2-0 winners. Pleased with the team’s performance.

Match 3 vs Paphos Pumas

This was to be our biggest test & again Tony kept us in the game with some great saves. Kostas had a chance for us and Andros also had a few chances as well to break the deadlock. The game ended goalless and we kept another clean sheet.

Overall as manager I was pleased with our squad’s performance and three clean sheets. We will improve before the next league games and we will work on our communication and player movement both on and off the ball.

Well done to the entire squad who all contributed to us going top of the table on 11 points.

We are Family. We are The Enad Panthers.

Manager’s Report on League Matchday 1, 09/11/25

Mario says “Today was the start of the WFIC league with four teams

entered for the league. We started today’s games wanting to make a positive start.

We introduced two new squad members (Steve & Matt) in our first game and both

played well. I also introduced a new formation which had to be altered at half

time as we struggled with the formation. We grew into the game securing the win and

it was great to see Matt get on the score sheet and Andros also contributed.

Game 2 saw us start well but early in the first half there was an altercation between

a Pafos player and an ENAD player which resulted in a wrongful sending off of Andros. ENAD then had to play with 4 outfield players - what a magnificent effort to keep the game to 0-0. Again in the final game we started slowly and found ourselves 2-0 down. However, ENAD reorganised themselves and this led to two great ENAD goals. After a mistake the Tigers got the winner.

As manager I was so pleased with every players’ performance today. We resume training on Tuesday and I will look at improving our team structures, both defending & going

forward. We have such a great football family at ENAD I’m sure we will be back in

round 2 of the league as a stronger team. Well done to every ENAD player and that

includes Tony HG who supported the team from the sidelines, and as fitness coach has

done a fantastic job, his contribution on our web site is also a testament to

character as an ENAD player, carry on the fantastic work Tony”. (Mario, thanks - I wish I’d been fit today! Tony)
